Nevada State College, Clark County School District announce Crossroads Mentoring Program results

The Crossroads program at Nevada State College assists "high risk" seventh and eigth grade students develop the skills necessary for academic success. Resultant data of the 2008 program has shown the students made significant strides as a result of the program by increasing their self-confidence, academic resiliency, and re-engaging them in the educational process.

Healing Ceremony Celebrates Dedication of Nursing Program’s Faculty & Students

A grant program funded by the Health Resource and Services Administration (HRSA) is the first coordinated effort in Nevada to offer nurses the chance to receive a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree entirely online.

NSC part of State-Wide "Dream Team" to Study Nevada's Climate Changes

Researchers from Nevada State College, the Desert Research Institute; University of Nevada, Las Vegas; and University of Nevada, Reno; will spend the next five years detecting, analyzing and modeling the effects of regional climate change on our landscapes, ecosystems and water resources, thanks for a $15 million grant from the National Science Foundation.
